We are now seeking a qualified and experienced full-time Fitter to join our team in NSW.

**About the JOB**
- Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Analyzing drawings and specifications to identify appropriate materials, methods, operation sequences, and machine settings.
- Engage in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances. Shaping metal stock and castings to precise tolerances with machining tools for tasks such as pressing, cutting, grinding, etc.
- Verifying the accuracy, clearance, and fit of fabricated and assembled metal parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Adjusting guides, stops, and controls on machining tools; setting up cutting, shaping tools, and dies in machines and presses.
- Identifying issues, conducting routine maintenance, and overhauling or repairing mechanical components and related systems.
- Potentially assembling machines and equipment at installation sites.
- Ensuring that all mechanical work is carried out to meet the Company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.

**To be successful in the role you will need to have**:

- Mechanical trade qualifications and post-trade experience of a minimum of 2-3 years
- Knowledge and experience in Solar construction projects is a plus
- Experience for whole of project responsibilities - production, reporting, commercial, Safety, Environment and leading a diverse team to execute the program.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team environment
- Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Effective and efficient fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
- Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
- Sound computer skills
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

**What we offer**
- Annual Salary minimum $85,000 for 38 hours per week, plus superannuation
