**About the role**:
The Maintenance Systems Manager will support the design, delivery and ongoing maintenance of the Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) implemented by Ampol’s Energy division.

The key to success in this role is to plan, schedule and supervise the maintenance activities of Ampol’s Future Energy assets in order to achieve high reliability and asset uptime.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Operations, the Maintenance Systems Manager will also assist the Technology Team with the development of the CMMS to meet Asset Operations requirements such as the management of reactive and preventative tasks, reporting on asset reliability and uptime, and other key operational metrics.

A key appointment within the Future Energy division, this role will focus on managing preventive maintenance procedure documentation, site-based drawings and operation manuals to support maintenance teams in conducting both preventative and reactive tasks efficiently and in an informed manner.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Integrating new equipment and systems installed by Ampol’s Future Energy Project Teams into the CMMS
- Assisting with the setup of maintenance systems for new projects and endeavours
- Maintaining the CMMS through the review of asset registration and associated maintenance plans
- Reviewing asset identification, equipment types, maintenance plans and specific maintenance items to identify issues with data integrity and implementing, communicating configuration and data entry practice changes needed to eliminate these problems
- Providing timely responses to user queries on system process and content
- Training staff and contractors where required to enable fulfilment of job roles, filling gaps for existing staff and contractors where required, and providing refresher training when significant changes occur
- Visiting facilities as needed to review maintenance procedures on site with contractors and gain feedback in order to ensure that the CMMS is fit-for-purpose
- Manage access rights to operational documents for staff and contractors

The role is based in Sydney at our Head Office in Alexandria NSW and includes a hybrid working option with flexibility dependent on scheduled delivery outcomes and stakeholder engagement requirements.

**About you**:
You will be trade qualified as a Fitter/Machinist or Electrical/Instrumentation with cross trade knowledge or have tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Your 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in the Energy Industry including Renewables, Petroleum Chemical/Process or a similar high consequence plant environment.

Your experience will showcase your proficiency in Energy Transition framework, reliability and planning of electrical infrastructure and proven ability in managing computerised maintenance management system (a background in SAP-PM is preferable but not essential).

You bring developed organisational skills with you and possess the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet/exceed customer needs. You will have a passion for electrical infrastructure and the drive to learn more.
