**About the role**
This role is a Permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours/week).
**About you**
The Transport Officer, Transport Services is responsible for providing the daily operational support, including but not limited to, making bookings, daily scheduling, driver rosters and responding to general enquires.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in customer service, appointment booking and rostering. You will be someone who is able to prioritise and manage competing demands.
**Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
**Essential Skills**:
- Experience working in a service delivery role of a community service organisation
- Experience with scheduling bookings and rostering
- Experience working with volunteers
- Experience in handling confidential information
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people from all levels of the community
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with a high level of time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks and be flexible
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office suite and booking systems
- Current Queensland Open C Class Drivers’ Licence
**Desirable Skills**:
- An understanding of the impact that diagnosis and treatment of cancer has on individuals, their partners, and families
