So glad you asked We are currently browsing for a resident SEO Strategist who will use both their analytical (logical side) and marketing (creative side) skills You will use these skills to implement SEO strategies and insights to help improve our client’s online visibility, rankings and overall site health. As a result you’ll be helping grow our clients’ business - how exciting

Our resident Head of SEO will guide you through the role and you will also have the support of our wonderful SEO team at large. Working alongside this cheeky bunch you’ll spend your time preparing reports, completing keyword research, onboarding new clients, optimising copy and analysing websites for opportunities (sounds pretty exciting to me).

**A “Typical Day”**

No two days are the same around here but there are some consistencies throughout. Preparing and monitoring your workload is a big part of the job. An average day will include working across multiple websites/clients and working on anything from site audits to keyword research and converting those results to written content.

Days at Five by Five are fun You will have the opportunity to be creative in generating ideas for websites/blogs, looking for exciting new ways to drive real results for clients and of course connecting with our wonderful team

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

At a glance, some of your tasks will include:

- Weekly/monthly analytics and reporting
- Keyword research and recommendations
- Evaluation of new clients, strategy develop and task mapping
- Strategy execution, measuring and modification (good news, unlike some agencies ALL of our team members are not just “ideas creators”, you will be able to get your hands dirty and executive on strategy)
- Google penalty and technical SEO analysis (with support from the team of course)
- Competitor analysis and tracking
- Writing and reviewing content to align with our clients SEO strategy

**What skills will you need?**

We’re not looking for Einstein here, however we do need someone who:

- Has a knack for sourcing, organising and interpreting information to problem solve
- Is a quick learner with a passion to grow
- Ability to audit existing strategies and develop modifications to further progress matured campaigns
- Positive attitude and fun personality (Hint: if you love food, coffee or pups you’ll be just fine).

**What we’d LOVE but isn’t essential**:

- Experience with SEO management software platforms such as SEMrush, MOZ, Google Keyword Planner etc. (But if you don’t and you’re a fast learner who loves youtube tutorials you’ll be fine.)
- Familiarity with various analytics and conversation rate optimisation platforms would be advantageous.
- At least 1-2 years agency experience is ideal but not essential
