We have a magnificent opportunity for an experienced, strategic, and commercial marketing professional to join our high performing and collaborative Marketing team. The Head of Brand Strategy, Socia Media, and Public Relations is a highly strategic role, a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager of Marketing.

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative individual responsible for driving the strategic direction of our brand and overseeing our social media and public relations efforts to enhance our presence and skilfully engage with our target audience.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Develop and guide the evolution of our brand strategy ensuring we retain and extend our Low-Price leadership position- Grow the equity in our brand through the creation of engaging brand storytelling and customer experiences- In partnership with the Head of Creative and Marketing Operations, inspire, coach, and motivate internal and external creative teams to deliver impactful, on brand work that is compelling for customers, engaging for our team and supports growth in strategic brand metrics-
- Develop and implement a PR, organic social media and events strategy to support trade, grow the engagement and reach of our media and influencer communities; support the organic creation of content and grow the awareness and love for our brand- Lead and manage a high performing team with diverse background and skill sets

**To be successful in this team you will have**:
- Degree in Marketing or related business discipline- Considerable Marketing experience in retail, FMCG or major brands- Strong influencing, negotiation and decision-making skills- Exceptional strategic skills with demonstrated experience in translating customer insights and business requirements into actions to deliver strong results- Excellent presentation skills with demonstrated capability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in using financial, brand and customer metrics to drive growth and measure success- Strong leadership experience with a current detailed knowledge of marketing and media environment across both traditional and emerging channels- Demonstrated leadership experience in driving strategic brand evolution- Excellent project, event and time management skills and attention to detail
