Print Machine Operator

We have an opportunity for a Print Operator to join our Computershare Communication Services business in Port Melbourne. This role will provide support to the Shift Leader in the department in order to achieve on time delivery of client’s jobs within strictly measured Quality and productivity guidelines.

**A role you will love**

Reporting to Team Leader, this role is to operate machines to achieve on-time delivery of client’s jobs within strictly measured Quality and Productivity specifications. Standard hours of operation will be 7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday. In addition, some flexibility is required if an occasion may present where an urgent task outside the general nature of the role is necessary in order to meet Communication Services client requirements.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure the efficient and timely production of jobs in line with the Aardvark schedule
- Be operating Xerox Nuvera B&W printer and Ricoh production printers equipment
- Recognise and escalate any potential issues to a Laser Team Leader
- Ensure all related systems and ISO procedures are complied with
- Ensure all procedures are conducted in a safe and healthy manner in order to achieve a safe accident free work environment
- Help out in areas as and when required

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Experience in a structured production environment
- Experience in operating print machines
- Experience in troubleshooting and fixing a range of simple machine operation issues
