Due to rapid growth within the organisation, we are looking for a Program Performance Manager to join our Mission and Support Systems portfolio, focussing on the Collins Class** **Submarine Program** **where we bring together engineering, design, systems integration and platform management capabilities to sustain the Collins Class submarines. This role is integral in contributing to the success of the Program and is required to gather, evaluate, interpret and present data to the deliverables and constraints within the program.

The role will see you proactively manage all required program control functions and identify and mitigate delivery risk and resolve programmatic issues within the function. You will drive capability and capacity of functional personnel to achieve immediate and long-term objectives of the program. You will maintain an awareness of industry 'best practice' and identify lessons learned or opportunities to improve program and business operations to align with developments within the industry.

You will challenge the status-quo and find innovative ways to improve the program and create efficiencies across the function**. **You’re a leader in nature and eager to provide coaching and mentoring to facilitate the development of your team.** **You will build robust working relationships with various stakeholders and manage conflicting priorities to deliver business outcomes to strict timeframes. Additionally, you will have:

- Australian Citizen with an NV1 security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, or Project Management.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferably within a Defence environment.
- Experience in providing day-to-day leadership and tasking of a team ensuring timely delivery of Projects/Programs.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Strong understanding of contracts and governance.
