About you
We're looking for individuals who are passionate about conservation, land management and working collaboratively. To be successful in the role, you will also have:
Ability to guide and support core pest programs and projects.
In depth knowledge of feral animal, invasive weed and emerging biosecurity, including effective techniques in line with relevant legislation.
Strong communications skills and the ability to support operational units deliver desired outcomes.
Ability to build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders of pest management, management planning, and engagement with our First Nations partners.
High level writing and data presentation skills to contribute to management planning and the development of key thematic strategies.
Ability to work autonomously and within a geographically dispersed team.
Strong initiative, problem solving and resolution skills.
Project management fundamentals including planning, reporting and budgets in liaison with relative units.
Mapping and data collection skills (desirable, not mandatory).
Willingness to listen, learn and participate.

Please note that this is not an operational ranger position. Technical support roles primarily administrative positions with some field work incorporated to assist operational work units deliver projects.
