Console Operator/store Assistant

Are you friendly, reliable, and ready to be part of a busy, customer-first team? The Station Grocer is on the lookout for a **Store Assistant / Closing Console Operator** to join our crew in Wollongbar.

We’re more than just a convenience store — we serve great coffee, fresh food, and genuine service.

**Position Details**:

- casual role
- mid shifts: 10am-5pm or 11am-6pm
- closing shifts: 2pm-10pm
- 3-4 shifts per week, includes weekends
- $33.99/hour weekdays, $44.34/hour weekends (Age 20+)

**Your Role Will Include**:

- Serving customers at the register and console
- Stocking shelves, rotating products, and maintaining store presentation
- Monitoring fuel transactions and ensuring safety procedures are followed
- General cleaning and opening/closing tasks
- Providing friendly, helpful service that keeps customers coming back

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous retail or food service experience is a bonus, but not required
- Comfortable working mid to late evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Responsible and reliable
- Console experience? Even better

Pay: $33.99 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
