About the position

The Injury management and RTW coordinator will join the People & Culture Team based in Mulgrave (with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week) and be responsible for end to end Injury Claims Management, Workers Compensation and Return to Work functions nationally.

This position will be responsible for partnering with the business to:
Manage and enhance the end to end injury/claims management and RTW functions nationally
Partner with the business to ensure best practice approach to injury management, promoting employee wellbeing, early intervention strategies and ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes
Coach, mentor and upskill internal stakeholders, ensuring contemporary practices, skills and knowledge in rehabilitation and case management is maintained across the business
Analyse, report and present WorkCover and Injury data/ trends
Assist in the review and implementation of policies and procedures
Assist in developing and delivering training and development programs
Liaising with external stakeholders including insurers, Worksafe, health professionals, unions, fair work, lawyers etc
Involvement with a variety of HR projects and initiatives

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
2-3+ years in a similar position (with exposure to injury management and RTW coordinator duties, preferably nationally).
Excellent communication, negotiation & influential skills
Proven ability to set positive, open & effective relationships
Driven, solution orientated and innovative thinker
Excellent organisation, time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to be flexible and work under pressure
Completed RTW Coordinator training (preferred)
Previous Injury Management / Claims Management experience (preferred)
Experience working with a HRIS and Injury Management system (desirable)
