St Michael’s Grammar School is looking for a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Officer to join our high-performing Maintenance Team immediately. As a key member of our Facilities Property team, you will help ensure our beautiful school grounds and facilities are maintained to the highest standard. From conducting maintenance repairs, rubbish removal and general upkeep, you will play a vital role in supporting our staff and students.

**What you will bring**:

- Entry level Trade qualifications are preferable (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting etc), but experience in a maintenance or handy-person role is highly desirable.
- A strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Physical capability to undertake manual work, including lifting and moving equipment.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to workplace safety.

**Required**:

- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain before starting).
- A National Police History Check (issued within the last 6 months).
- Willingness to undertake medical assessment as part of the pre-employment process and mandatory Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training on commencement and regularly as required.
