**THE ROLE**

Are you:

- a finance specialist who is passionate for numbers, with a record of financial modelling and data analytics?
- a problem solver who can identify cost drivers in end to end processes?
- able to work collaboratively and communicate with senior leadership members on financial results?

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Financial Modelling and Commercial Outcomes, the newly established role of Financial Modeller is responsible for assisting in the creation of financial models to strategically influence and support financial sustainability. The Financial Modeller will work closely with project teams within Homes Victoria, as well as working collaboratively within the Housing Financial and Commercial Outcomes team.

Key attributes of the successful applicant will be proven financial modelling skills, data analytics, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to problem solve, and attention to detail

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**

1. Oversee the timely and accurate completion of complex account reconciliations, annual account working papers, financial reports, briefings and other ad hoc reports and correspondence.

2. Manage transactions using departmental corporate systems and whole of government online banking and financial systems, maintain financial systems that support delivery of best-practice, contemporary financial management and services and identify issues and opportunities for improvement.

3. Liaise with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and ensure a high level of client service delivery.
