**The Role**
**About our Team**
DCAM is responsible for the development, management and strategic direction of the Customer Service Network (CSN) in alignment with Service Delivery Division and wider Defence strategic direction and reforms. DCAM works with business areas to develop the boundaries of individual products and provide guidance on how they are delivered. These products are delivered through the multiple access channels of the CSN on behalf of business areas within Defence. DCAM manages and reports on the performance of the CSN and is responsible for reviewing the quality of the services provided.
DCAM is also responsible for the management and service delivered by 1800DEFENCE (1800 333 362) and jointly contributes towards the Your Customer Service Inbox. Providing support and guidance to Defence Members, their families, APS employees, contractors, industry partners and the general public.
1800DEFENCE is a rostered Contact Centre environment with operation hours of:
- Monday 7:30am - 7:00pm
- Tuesday 7:30am - 10:00pm
- Wed-Fri 7:30am - 7:00pm
- Sat-Sun Closed
Hours are in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
