**About the role**
The Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the output of the afternoon shift in the assembly of EV charging products. You will be responsible for the smooth and safe operation of the team, helping the workers to meet goals, and mediating concerns with upper management. The afternoon shift employees will be part of a much larger manufacturing team who are responsible for the complete E2E manufacture of Tritium’s leading-edge high-power charging infrastructure.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

- Supervise one or more of the production lines (end-to-end) in the pursuit of achieving the managerial objectives.
- Oversee the full scope of operations and direct activities of the production assembler’s, to ensure products are manufactured on-schedule, in the right sequence, to the required quality standard.
- Drive the production team to achieve the established targets for Safety, People, Quality (DIFOT, OEE, RFT etc)
- Assist with the hiring and coaching production team members, conducting team member training / coaching when required.
- Support all Lean / 5S initiatives.
- Support all VSM and line balancing activities.
- Liaise with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other internal departments when ‘line stoppage’ escalation is required.
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce production variances.
- Completes issue and/or incident forms timely, participates in investigations and is a part of the solution for improved quality and/or safety.
- Schedule overtime / weekend work for the manufacturing operations.
- Ensure that all safety practices are in compliance with the relevant policies & rules are being enforced.

**About You**
- Degree in Engineering, or other related discipline with a Manufacturing or Process Engineering emphasis
- + 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- + 1 years’ experience working directly with incident / Issue Reporting Systems, with a general knowledge in the corresponding systems / tools / procedures (8D, RedX, 5Y’s etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to consistently work to a high standard with mínimal supervision; self-motivated.
- Proven accuracy and high attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate work for assembly operators and monitor tasks.
- Enthusiasm and highly motivated;
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints;
- On occasion the ability to travel where required to facilitate the outcomes required in this position;
- Must be eligible to work in Australia.
