**Permanent Full Time - 80 Hours per fortnight (with ADO)**

**About the role**

Grampian’s Health Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Gardening team. The Gardening supervisor is to assist the Senior maintenance officer to provide a quality, cost effective maintenance function to the Department’s clients. In all aspects, landscaping and gardening maintenance is to be carried out in accordance with the needs of the customer. Some out of normal hours work may be required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinate and supervise the activities of the gardeners to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness against agreed criteria.
- Identify resources needed within the Gardening Section to control the level of outstanding work within the agreed limits of budgetary constraints.
- Provide an effective and appropriate means of communication between the members of the Gardening Section and Management of the Engineering Services department on all matters related to the Gardening Section.
- Maintenance of gardens, lawns, fence lines, foot paths and gutters of Ballarat Health Services owned properties

**Skills and experience**
- Horticultural qualifications
- Demonstrate experience, or the ability to undertake, the supervision of staff.
- Must have experience in maintenance of Grounds and Gardens.
- Must have an unrestricted/unconditional drivers’ licence.
