Chas J Group is a privately owned conglomerate, with a proud 40-year history and a strong focus in Senior Living. The organisation runs some of the largest Retirement Living and Aged Care sites in Australia and has a strong organic growth profile. We are based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and have a rare opportunity to join a high functioning dynamic finance team.
**Key Relationships**:
- Finance team
- Residents
- Suppliers
- All other areas of the business as required
**Responsibilities**:
- Billing of all sales invoices including recurring sales such as service fees and electricity charges, non-pensioner rates, meal deliveries, etc
- Other group entity billings and intra company recharges
- Printing & disbursement of monthly statements to residents
- Processing monthly Direct Debit run for residents
- Cash receipting of service fees, catering income, functions & music and other income generating activities
- Banking and Petty Cash reconciliation
- Manage the resident pension concessions for Electricity, Shire Rates & Water.
- Invoicing and reconciliation for electricity embedded network
- Manage the ATM including replenishing cash as required and reconciliations.
- Manage the Insurance claims process for residents
- Bank Reconciliation
- Accounts Payable back up
- Assist with Payroll
- Undertake other ad hoc tasks as are reasonably required by the company from time to time.
**The Successful Applicant will have**:
- Previous finance and customer service experience in a similar role
- Confidence with Microsoft suit e.g. Word, Excel, Windows with an ability to learn new software programs. Knowledge of MYOB and THOR would be advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in both literacy and numeracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and promptly solve problems as they arise in a diverse team environment
- Positive and professional attitude
- Full eligibility to live and work in Australia
