**Role: Ecommerce Warehouse Worker**
**Shift Schedule: Mon to Fri 9-5pm**

- LO forklift license required
- Order fulfiilment experience required
- Warehouse experience in a similar role

**Role Duties**

**Order Picking**: This involves locating products within the warehouse based on order details and gathering them to fulfill customer orders. Workers may use handheld devices or pick lists to ensure accuracy.

**Packing**: After picking items, workers are responsible for appropriately packaging them for shipment. This includes selecting the right box or packaging materials, arranging items securely to prevent damage, and labeling packages correctly.

**Inventory Management**: Workers often play a role in keeping track of inventory levels. This may involve counting stock, replenishing shelves, and updating inventory records in the warehouse management system.

**Quality Control**: Ensuring that products are in good condition before shipping is crucial. Workers may inspect items for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors.

**Shipping and Receiving**: Workers may handle incoming shipments, verifying the contents against packing lists and ensuring that products are stored in the correct locations. They also prepare outgoing shipments for carriers, generating shipping labels and coordinating pickups or drop-offs.

**Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety**: Warehouse workers are typically responsible for keeping their work areas clean and organized to facilitate efficient operations. They must also adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

**Equipment Operation**: Depending on the warehouse setup, workers may operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems to move goods within the facility. Proper training and adherence to safety guidelines are essential for this aspect of the job.

**Communication**: Effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments (such as customer service or logistics) is important to ensure that orders are processed accurately and any issues are addressed promptly.

**Flexibility**: In a dynamic ecommerce environment, tasks and priorities can change quickly. Workers need to be adaptable and willing to take on different responsibilities as needed to support the overall operation of the warehouse.
