**About the role**
The role will work in collaboration with speech pathologists to identify the communication needs of children and young people and provide culturally safe and evidence-based communication interventions. Areas of speech pathology practice within the ACHT include: speech, language, pragmatics (social skills), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), literacy and emotional regulation supports.

- Lived experience of Aboriginal culture, protocols and ways of being.
- Capacity to advocate for, guide and support culturally safe approaches to working with Aboriginal children, carers and family
