Our client is a leading Global company with offices around the world and are looking to expand the company's Australian HQ. This is an exciting position for a seasoned Mechanical Fitter who wishes to further their career with advanced automation systems and robotics. This is a Field Service role and will have a strong focus on providing customers with technical support through, service, breakdown, and maintenance work.

Your main goal will be working in unison with our Service Team in achieving the highest possible Service levels to our valuable customers. This means that you will need to have an enthusiastic and proactive approach to not only customer needs, but also ensuring that all the onsite equipment is functioning at the highest possible technical levels.

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter that has a keen willingness to learn with an ability to adapt to customers’ needs while working harmoniously with diverse cultures and backgrounds.

This role is an outstanding opportunity to get involved in other areas that will extend the incumbent's skillset and support career advancement as opportunities arise.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform Electrical, Mechanical & Robotic Servicing.
- Preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Mechanical qualification with at least 3 to 5 years relevant working experience as Service Engineer/Technician.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Honest, reliable and proactive with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Good understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance.
- Perform breakdown, fault finding and emergency repair work as required - includes both Mechanical and Electrical.
- Ability to work occasional flexible hours and an ability to travel to regional areas.
- The ability or keen willingness to learn new computer, robot or PLC software.

**Nice to haves**:

- An additional qualification e.g., mechatronics / electrical / dual trade
- Alteast a Restricted electrical license
