**About Them**
This inclusive coeducational institution caters to students from Kindergarten to Year 12, focusing on those with Mild to Moderate Intellectual Disabilities. Committed to delivering modern and progressive education tailored to individual needs, they provide a nurturing environment where students can cultivate their unique talents and abilities.

They are seeking a dedicated WHS Consultant to join their team on a minimum one-month ongoing contract basis, with extension based on performance and organizational needs. This is an immediate start position with hybrid working arrangements, offering full-time or part-time options to accommodate flexible working schedules.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct a comprehensive audit and gap analysis on the school's safety processes, systems, and procedures.
- Collate findings from the audit and gap analysis to provide a detailed report outlining areas of improvement and corrective actions required.
- Report back to the school administration and relevant stakeholders on the identified gaps and proposed corrective measures.
- Drive the implementation of corrective actions through stakeholder engagement, collaboration, training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures and provide support and guidance to ensure continuous improvement in WHS practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a WHS Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of WHS legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough audits and gap analyses, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills, with the capability to drive initiatives from planning through to implementation and evaluation.
- Relevant qualifications in WHS or a related field will be highly regarded.
