Maxima, in partnership with West Beach Parks, are looking for a green thumb to undertake a full-time traineeship within horticulture.

This role will see you working along the coastline at one of Adelaide’s world-class holiday and leisure precincts, West Beach Parks. Picture a range of accommodation options with first-class facilities, go-karts and pools for all, lush golf course, and even a boating marina.

Day-to-day you will work alongside a large and supportive team to maintain all the gardens and landscapes of the holiday park. Across 3-years gain hands-on experience, any relevant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and receive paid study time for you to achieve a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Horticulture.**

**Duties Include**:

- Garden and grounds maintenance
- Mulch, prune, pot, and water plants
- Tree removal
- Brush cutting and mowing
- Pest and weed control
- Installation of irrigation and watering systems
- Use of garden machinery and tools

**About You**:

- Enjoy working outdoors and with garden tools
- Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual
- Ability to prioritise time and tasks when working under pressure
- Works effectively within a team and unsupervised
- Great communication skills
- Have a can-do attitude and willing to learn

**Role Requirements**:

- Must hold a provisional or full driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labour work
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or similar (advantageous)
