**About Us**

ENSW Solar Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned solar and battery installation company passionate about delivering sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions. We specialise in custom solar PV, battery storage, and energy management systems for homes and businesses.

As we expand, we’re looking for a **Mechanical Engineering Technologist** to support the design, planning, and installation of our systems. If you're technically skilled, hands-on, and want to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

**Your New Role**

In this role, you'll work closely with our engineers, project managers, and installation team to ensure mechanical systems are well-designed, structurally sound, and efficiently installed.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the mechanical design and layout of solar and battery systems
- Conducting on-site assessments and measurements
- Preparing drawings, specifications, and installation documentation
- Collaborating with the team during installations to resolve mechanical issues
- Ensuring mounting/racking systems are compliant and safely installed
- Contributing to system performance reviews and ongoing improvements

**What We’re Looking For**

**Essential**:

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (or similar)
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical or construction engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Comfortable working on-site as well as in the office
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Current driver’s licence and White Card

**Bonus Points For**:

- Experience with solar panel racking or battery enclosure design
- Familiarity with Australian Standards (e.g., AS/NZS 1170, AS/NZS 5139)
- Experience in the renewable energy or electrical sector
