**The Role**

The Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager will be required to engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. This includes providing advice and support to key stakeholders in support of our learning system governance.The Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager will inform continuous improvement activities through regular review of audit and compliance reports, feedback and corrective actions.

**About our Team**
Digital Learning Solutions Directorate partners with Groups, Services and Job Family Sponsors to understand business intent and provide cost effective learning and development solutions to meet capability requirements and improve business performance. The Directorate comprises of a team who support the uplift in capability across Defence through the production and support or enterprise learning solutions.

Our Hosting Platforms team support our enterprise learning systems, including Campus (SABA), LXP (Totara Learn) and LinkedIn Learning. The team is responsible for testing and release of system updates and new courseware and supporting system users and administrators to achieving their required outcomes while responding to a range of diverse enquiries. A merit pool may be established from this process to fill potential future opportunities over the next 12 months.

You will be able to engage and communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. You will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.

You will be an excellent communicator and be able to influence outcomes to ensure that the best outcomes for Defence are achieved. You will also take the initiative to achieve business outcomes. You will be motivated to learn and adapt, and always be seeking to contribute the organisational goals and vision. You will be proficient in the use a wide range of tools to aid in carrying out your work such as Microsoft Office tools and other IT systems.
- Experience as an effective leader and manager of a team
- Highly effective communication skills (written and oral) with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (SABA and Totara Learn LMS are highly desirable)
- Ability to critically analyse data and information to provide recommendations and insights to support continuous improvement.
