**The Position**
**St John of God Geelong Hospital** is a 284-bed hospital located in the CBD of Geelong, and is recognised as the leading provider of private health care in the Barwon and South-western region of Victoria. Caring for our community through our dedicated team of medical specialists and experienced caregivers, our services include maternity, cardiac, oncology, rehabilitation and emergency care.

- Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Recent clinical experience in an acute medical care environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Well-developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Knowledge of acts and legislation that impact on the practice of nursing.
- Knowledge and skills of the principles of infection management.
- Flexibility to accommodate the changing needs of the department
- An interest in progressing your career in the area of speciality.
