we are one stop shop setting up industry best SIL facilities - developing brand new SDA dwellings and servicing across Melbourne to participants either in our own accommodation or at the place of choice where participants need it.

**About the Opportunity**

Huge growth and development opportunity to be part of the growing organisation thriving to give the best but nothing less to our participants. You will be working closely with senior management and ability to bring your experience to influence best practices.

At present we have openings in inner north of Melbourne and south east Melbourne.

Applicants should be prepared to support clients with activities of daily living such as
- Work collaboratively to ensure efficient quality of care to our customers
- Assist with medication assistance and personal care
- Provide support to participants in group settings with a wide variety of activities
- Assistance with community access and recreational activities
- Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)
- Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs
- Transportation and social engagement
- Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Behavioural and Mental Health Support

Regular shifts available including Mornings, afternoons, and active nights. Parking on site is also available.

**Skills & Experience**
- Flexibility and availability are essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts
- A positive, reliable, empathetic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability
- Demonstrated, proven experience working with individuals who may have complex support needs in different environments
- Proven can do, positive and willing attitude
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Friendly disposition and engaging manner - a sense of humour
- Initiative and self-motivation

**An applicant MUST have**:

- Cert IV in Disability or a relevant qualification and a minimum of 6 months experience in the sector (Students encouraged to apply)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of your right to work in Australia
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

Carefast is also looking for a community relationship manager and welcoming referral Program for providing choice and control to our community.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- PARKVILLE, VIC 3052: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
