**General Surgery Registrar - PRE-SET Unaccredited**

12 months Fixed Term Full Time and Part Time positions commencing 2nd February and 4th August 2025.

**Your Opportunity**:
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to rotate through the registrar rotations listed below. Positions are based at Royal Melbourne Hospital unless otherwise noted:

- Colorectal
- RMH
- HPB- RMH
- Trauma and Emergency General Surgery
- General Surgery
- Wimmera (6-month terms)
- General Surgery
- Wangaratta (6-month terms)
- General Surgery
- Epworth
- Urology
- Ballarat (6-month terms)
- Urology (with General Surgery after hours)
- Wangaratta (6-month terms)
- Surgical leave cover
- All of our offers of employment will be 12 months in duration. Depending on your level of experience and ability, we offer either a full 12 months as an Unaccredited Registrar or 6 months in surgical HMO rotations, and 2 rotations (minimum) in Unaccredited Registrar rotations._

**Ab About You**:

- Current General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for Provisional Registration with the Medical Board of Australia via the Competent Authority Pathway (for international Medical Graduates).
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience
- Demonstrated interest in General Surgery
- Application for or completion of GSSE
- Involvement in research, teaching and or medical education
- RACS skills courses
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team
