We are looking for experienced **Cleaning Team Leaders** to join our team located at Queensland Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane. In this role you will be responsible for and play a key role in the efficient operation of the cleaning team.

We currently have both a **causal** position, offering relief to our current permanent team leaders as well as a **permanent part-time night shift** position.

**Key Duties**
- Support the Cleaning Supervisor to coordinate daily operations
- Act as a point of contact for the cleaning team, assisting with troubleshooting and enhancing performance of the team
- Complete waste room audits and take any necessary action
- Ensure all tasks associated with cleaning, laundry and waste management are performed in line with health and safety regulations

**The Person**
- Leadership experience, ideally within cleaning or waste management
- A strong understanding of waste management and the general duties involved
- Experience with operating some heavy machinery such as blowers, scrubbers etc
- Flexible and positive attitude towards work, with the ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously
- Willing to provide of obtain COVID vaccinations, national police check clearance and immunisation evidence against a variety of vaccine preventable diseases
