**The Opportunity**
The Systems Support Officer is accountable to the Financial and Procurement Systems Operations Team Leader for:

- Assisting with investigations, preparing reports with recommendations, maintaining records and systems and contributing to the development of programs, services and projects and performance benchmarking.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and other finance related projects.
- Working as part of the Financial and Procurement Systems Operations team to meet key compliance and business outcomes.
- Collaborating with other sections of Financial and Procurement Services and Internal and External Stakeholders (including Shared Services SA) to deliver efficient financial system outcomes.

**About You**

**Qualifications/Experience**
Qualifications or equivalent experience in Accounting, Economics, Commerce or Information Technology is desirable.

**Special Conditions**
A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

May be required to perform duties in other locations/divisions/units depending on DIT requirements.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 12 months.

**Remuneration**
ASO3 - $67,589 to $72,033 pa + superannuation
