**About the OPPORTUNITY**

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity as a Engineering Management Systems Manager to join our engaging team based in Adelaide, South Australia.

We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as hybrid working.

Reporting to the **Business Systems Manager**, you will be responsible to manage a team of IT professionals in delivering quality and cost effective systems to support BAE Systems Australia or the customer.

We are seeking a strategic and technically adept leader to oversee the team activities, delivery and performance to align business goals resulting in maximum customer benefit.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and manage a team to ensure the seamless and cohesive delivery of IT services, maintaining high operational standards
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and technical support
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and best practices to enhance system performance, governance, and compliance
- Empower and develop team members through structured coaching, training, and performance management
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture, ensuring accountability and excellence in service delivery
- Review and amend short and long term resource planning and advice and lead recommendations on leveraging both existing and new systems and technologies
- Provide visionary leadership by setting clear objectives, mentoring team members, and fostering a high-performance culture

**About YOU**
- Proven experience in IT delivery role or similar senior leadership position
- Demonstrated exposure to multiple or complex domain analysis with experience in Windchill or similar PLM Tools will be highly regarded
- Good understanding of Dimensional Modelling and Data Warehousing will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a high-performing technical team.
- Deep understanding of service delivery frameworks, ITIL principles, and industry best practices for enterprise collaboration platforms
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to drive process improvements and platform enhancements
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and executive leadership
