**Your New Role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk, the **Incident Manager **will advocate and promote continuous improvement through the effective end to end management of incidents and breaches.

This role will need to be capable of working both autonomously and as an active team contributor and lead for incident and breach management in the Member Domain.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Working closely with Member, Risk and Compliance colleagues to drive the timely completion of incident related assessments.
- Identifying and engaging with relevant Member colleagues to ensure all relevant information is obtained in a timely manner to understand the incident.
- Working with relevant colleagues to conduct root cause analysis to assist in the development of appropriate remediation response plans. Assist and provide constructive challenge during remediation and solution discussions.
- Leading the Incident Review Group meetings to ensure all contributors are providing necessary information so appropriate consideration can be given to incidents tabled and discussed.
- Driving the ongoing monitoring of open incidents to ensure agreed remediation responses are actioned within agreed timelines and escalate as required.
- Identify key cross domain dependencies and proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives to enable timely resolution of incidents. Actively participate and contribute to management reporting and relevant forums to ensure that incident management receives the required focus.

**What You’ll Need**
- Strong incident management experience, ideally in superannuation, banking or insurance.
- Ability to quickly understand and synthesise information, and to observe patterns and trends.
- Experience in compliance or risk management practices in either 1st or 2nd line of defence capacity.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical skills including root cause analysis.
- High level of personal integrity as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters.
- Commercially astute being able to balance business needs with good risk and compliance outcomes. Ability to develop and maintain high quality interpersonal relationships with stakeholders at all levels within Member Domain and across the Fund.
