**Job Description**:
Success in this role is measured by the ability to drive revenue through commercial content that feels as at home on our sites as unbranded content does, and by efficiently prioritising and executing everything from deal posts and product roundups to how-to guides and reviews.

**The E-Commerce Writer will be required to**:

- Write commerce content - including gift guides, deals roundups and reviews on interesting products - across any and all Pedestrian Group sites.
- Work collaboratively with our affiliate partners, including Amazon, eBay, Linkby, Whistleout and Skimlinks, to bring great deals and exclusive offers to our readers.
- Work collaboratively with our site editors to ensure all commerce content is reflective of the overall editorial strategy and its different audiences.
- Optimise new and existing content based on market trends, SEO and analytical insights from affiliate partner dashboards, Parse.ly, Google Analytics, etc.
- Use SEO and keyword trends to help devise a content strategy to support key shopping moments throughout the year i.e. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Click Frenzy.
- Trawl the Internet for the best deals and coolest products in a variety of categories.

**Qualifications**:
**The position calls for someone with**:

- Experience or a strong interest in e-commerce or product writing.
- A deep love of shopping, brands, retailers, and products.
- An appreciation for the importance of quality native content as a service to the reader.
- The ability to adapt writing tone to suit different audiences across pillars including tech, culture, lifestyle and business.
- A strong interest, or experience in, audience growth, conversion and analytics.
- Willingness to work on weekends and/or evenings as required, especially around major shopping events like Black Friday.
- Knowledge of best SEO practices, Yoast and SEMRush preferable.
