**The Opportunity**

The C-17A ASSC is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic experienced Level B Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A platform located at **RAAF Base Amberley**. We are looking for a positive customer focused individual to be responsible and accountable for warehousing and distribution support to our C-17A Military customer.

**Responsibilities**

The C-17A Shipping and Receiving Specialist will be customer orientated whose focus is to satisfy the customers' needs in a prompt manner. The role will involve all manner of warehouse operations and the applicant must have a desire to learn, problem solve and perform all aspects of material management, use of plant and Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) and using Inventory Management Systems (IMS). Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Processing Inventory Management System (Oracle), Boeing Warehouse on Web (WoW) and ADF MILIS transactions to support project activities;
- Management and control of inventory accounts including Serviceable, Repairable, Quarantine and Disposable Accounts in accordance with Boeing policies and procedures;
- Receipt, storage manual handling, packaging, shipping and issuing of inventory to customers; and
- Support of ADF C-17A Enterprise to meet their requirements.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Experience providing logistics or maintenance support;
- Ability to communicate confidently on the phone and in person with Enterprise Stakeholders from a range of disciplines;
- Efficiently receive and deliver goods and handle issues impacting support of products, services, or other deliverables;
- Demonstrate an inclusive and collaborative team approach and contribute to the success of the team and broader program;
- Ability to work autonomously and be able to drive continuous improvement across many disciplines;
- Motivated to expand your knowledge and gain in depth experience in all computerised systems;
- Applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance (NV1) and an Australian Security Identify Card (ASIC).

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Forklift License;
- Safe Manual Handling experience;
- MILIS/SAP experience
