**About the role**: Working in our Maintenance department and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the factory maintenance team. The hours of work are typically Monday to Friday, on day shift working 0550 to 1400, or afternoon shift working 1350 to 2200 plus overtime as required. We have set shifts so you can have a routine. For example, if you are hired for day shifts, you routinely work day shifts.

**Essential selection criteria include**:

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Reliable, punctual and able to work autonomously
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly collaborative and a team player
- Demonstrated skills/experience in relation to safety including risk management
- Experience working on packaging equipment or food manufacturing machinery
- Experience working in food manufacturing factories with an understanding of processes and hygiene requirements
