About the School
Jamboree Heights State School has a current student enrolment of 875 spread across 36 classes in the western suburbs of Brisbane, and growing We have a diverse range of learners (including EAL/D and students with disabilities) who are well catered for under our inclusion model. Our school's facilities provide a wonderful learning environment for all students. The multi-purpose centre, the swimming pool, our oval, the library extension, our various outdoor learning spaces and our playgrounds are fantastic features of our school. An integral component of the school ethos is the capacity-building and values education program, You Can Do It. This assists our learners to grow as individuals and active members of our community.
About the Role
**As the Guidance Officer you will**:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to support the well-being and engagement of all learners at the school.
- Liaise with external agencies to help support families within the community.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with students and families.
- Support the schools high performing culture by working as part of the Jamboree Heights team to support positive student outcomes.
The successful applicant will have a clear understanding of the NCCD.
