**Primary Products Inspector - Full Time**

We are currently seeking a **Primary Products Inspector** to join our team full-time at our Pyrmont facility. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of product quality, hygiene, and compliance within our fast-paced seafood processing and delivery operation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and assess the quality, freshness, and condition of seafood products during intake, preparation, and dispatch
- Monitor hygiene and handling processes to ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
- Conduct sampling and grading of seafood items based on size, freshness, and customer specifications
- Maintain quality assurance records and contribute to internal audits and inspections
- Provide recommendations and feedback to staff regarding quality standards and best practices
- Identify and report any non-conformances, contamination risks, or storage issues
- Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure all products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives in quality control and workplace hygiene procedures

**What We Offer**:

- Salary**:$85,000 - $90,000 per annum** plus superannuation
- Full-time position (38 hours per week)
- Ongoing support from a professional and energetic team
- A unique role within a fast-growing e-commerce seafood business

**Requirements**:

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma with at least 1 year of relevant experience, **or**:

- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food safety and seafood handling practices
- Experience working in a food production or quality control environment
- Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
