**About the Role**

**Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety & Environment Operations this newly created role will be pivotal in building and embedding a proactive, people-focused health and safety culture across our teams.**

**You will act as a strategic partner to our operations leaders, leading initiatives, managing risk, supporting incident investigations, and coaching teams to continuously improve HSW performance across the business.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Drive implementation of TGE’s HSE strategy, plans, and wellbeing initiatives.**
- **Provide expert guidance and practical support to operational leaders across multiple sites.**
- **Investigate health, safety, and environmental incidents; identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are taken.**
- **Build capability at all levels through training, mentoring, and hands-on partnership.**
- **Contribute to broader sustainability initiatives in collaboration with the Environment and Sustainability team.**
- **Lead continuous improvement in HSE processes, reporting, and compliance across the Intermodal, Linehaul, and Fleet teams.**

**About You**

**You are an HSE professional who thrives on creating safer, healthier workplaces and enjoys working in fast-paced operational environments. You’re known for your people-first approach, strong stakeholder relationships, and your ability to influence and drive results.**

**You’ll also bring**:

- **Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline.**
- **Significant experience in a similar HSE advisor or business partner role, ideally in transport, logistics or heavy industry.**
- **Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices.**
- **Demonstrated experience in incident investigation and driving continuous improvement.**
- **Excellent interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills.**
