Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Desktop Auditor to join Service Stream in our Melbourne office.
About the Role
Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Desktop Auditor to join our growing company. You will be responsible for performing desktop audits to ensure scope of works and approved client SORs align with thresholds for all Remediation works.
Nature of position: Max Term
Location: Collins Street, VIC
Reporting Line: Complex Team Leader
Key Responsibilities
- Review all incoming and other identified work orders for desktop cost review purposes
- Perform desktop work orders by reviewing Prescope notes, artefacts, google maps and technical network civils knowledge for required solution against the WOR issued by the client and the approved scope and SORS
- Utilise the Solution Variation Template to calculate proposed scope of works value where required to identify if over or under the client agreed thresholds and follow the relevant process whether over or under to return WOR mark as ok to proceed for allocation to contractors / civil crews
- Support the teams and contractors to perform the desktop assessment where in field variations are identified
- Track and monitor the volume of work orders that require further scoping and review for continuous process improvement
Support the contractors and field supervisors where required on how to utilise the SVT.
- Provide ongoing coaching for improvement:
- Systematically identify contractors with problems (Prescope technicians require coaching for more thorough hand off details, client coaching opportunities, lack of artefacts provided etc)
- Escalate all non compliant behaviour and coaching opportunities to management and the regional teams as relevant
About You
- Field knowldege of Telecommunications including civils or network design Experience of communicating commercial data to client / contractors and / or knowledge of claims and SORs.
- Experience owning and solving escalated issues on behalf of clients / contractors
