Mitani is a third-generation family business success story. Initially pioneering the commercial production of chicken salt, Mitani has built relationships with food companies to expand into other areas of food production including stuffing’s, dressings, and seasonings. Under the guidance of the current generation, they are well positioned for further growth and development across the business and industry.

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join the finance team. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst preferably with exposure to financial reporting within a manufacturing environment, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. The role will provide you with opportunities to utilise your technical and people management skills whilst working alongside a passionate group of people who thrive on an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic.

**Key Responsibilities, not limited to**:

- Provide quality assurance of imported data
- Compile, review and validate asset data and databases
- Support the achievement of agreed business outcomes
- Developing reports and analysis
- Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems
- Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems
- Training end-users on new reports and dashboards

**Not essential, but it would be fantastic if you had**:

- Proven experience and tertiary qualifications in a related role
- Hands on day to day data management in a fast paced environment
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills with attention to detail and follow-up
- Enhanced time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks to achieve agreed outcomes
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Team player and commitment to continual improvement and professional development
