**About the organisation**

Our client is the leading mid-market specialist corporate finance consultancy in the Sydney market. As part of an international group, they have scope to interact with client from ASX50 to SMEs, providing a collaborative and results orientated approach.
Due to growth and deal flow they are looking to add a Transaction Services Manager to their dynamic team.

**About the role**
As a Transaction Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various financial transactions for their brand name clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of transactions, providing strategic guidance, and mitigating potential risks for clients across multiple and varied industries.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex financial deals.
- Conduct thorough due diligence to evaluate the financial viability and risks associated with potential transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Develop financial models, perform valuations, and analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare comprehensive transaction documents, including financial statements, contracts, and presentations.
- Identify and assess potential risks and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to anticipate potential impacts on transactions.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management regarding transaction opportunities and challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as financial institutions, legal advisors, and other transaction-related parties.

**About you**
- A master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or professional certification (e.g., CA ANZ, CPA) is highly desirable.
- CFA completion would be beneficial.
- Proven experience in transaction services, investment banking, corporate finance, or a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, due diligence, valuation techniques, and transactional processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, DCF analysis tools).
- Solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to financial transactions.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively under pressure.
