BEC Engineering is a well-established and respected Electrical, Power and Control Systems Engineering Services firm located in West Perth.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of timely electrical design and drafting support to the engineering teams.

The Supervisor will have a dual responsibility of personally delivering high quality electrical design support and guiding the design teams activities.

Specifically, the Supervisor will:

- Have the primary responsibility as an electrical designer.
- Support, guide and motivate the drafting team.
- Assure project and design / drafting quality.
- Work with engineering teams and quality assurance to establish and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Communicate team capacity and to meet demands and organization goals.

**Key Requirements**

To be successful in the role applicants will:

- Have at least 10 - 15 years working as electrical engineering designer / draftsman.
- Solid design skills with AutoCAD and Microstation.
- Have experience managing a small drafting team.
- Have supported multiple engineering teams and be skilled at balancing priorities and tasking requirements.
- Familiarity and experience supporting minerals and materials handling projects desirable.
- Commercial awareness
- Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills - written and spoken.
