Disability Support Worker

**About the role**
We are looking for reliable and experienced support staff who are ethical, positive, fun, outgoing and share a passion for Inclusivity. We want Disability Support Workers who want to make a REAL and meaningful difference in our participants lives.
The position duties can include but are not limited to:
- Supporting Participants on getaways and respite
- Supporting Participants with transport
- Supporting Participants with personal care
- Supporting Participants on unique and fun social outings
- Supporting Participants with cooking, domestic duties, in home activities and medication administration especially on respite/getaways
- Supporting Participants with mobility equipment and needs.
**Locations: Head office is in Newcastle. Location of work can be Australia wide.**

**Skills and experience minimum requirements**:
- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care OR be entering the second year into your higher qualification in a relevant field.
- or minimum 2 years experience within a similar role
- Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid, Working with Children Check & Drivers License required
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
Work Location: In person
