**The Role**

The role is responsible for the infrastructure, cybersecurity & service desk functions across the business, ensuring IT is aligned to the business and meets SLAs.

**Core duties**
- Maintain, monitor, improve and support networks (LAN/WAN), hardware (servers, desktops/laptops, mobile devices), software and VoIP phone systems.
- Manage relationship with 3rd party cybersecurity partner and lead relevant internal team(s) in actioning identified security issues, incidents, and improvements.
- Manage relationship with 3rd party providers to ensure appropriate services/equipment are available to meet business needs and budget.
- Effectively manage the infrastructure and service desk teams (4-5) to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure systems availability, reliability, capacity, uptime and growth.
- Oversee completion of all service desk calls, ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Own and lead the creation and continuous improvement of effective support processes and work with business units to drive outcomes.
- Set and ensure appropriate workflows, processes and procedures are adhered to.

**Technical Skills**
- Expert at WAN/SD-WAN/LAN networking, VMware, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), Office 365 / Azure, Windows Server, SQL, PowerShell, Active Directory
- Storage and Storage Management (NAS, SAN).
- Endpoint Management (Windows/Mac/iOS/Android)
- Asset Management for endpoints, printer and telephony fleet management.
- Backup and recovery knowledge - Veeam
- Web technologies (.Net, Java, XML, HTML, Web Server, middleware).
- VoIP telephony management

**Education / Experience / Requirements**
- Tertiary qualified or appropriate industry experience
- Proven experience in a management capacity
- Demonstrated track record of hands-on collaboration with business stakeholders
- Proven skills with network architecture development
- Ability and willingness to learn new things and new technologies (can do attitude)
- Results oriented and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Retail experience beneficial
