We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic **Events Coordinator** to provide professional support to our Operations team in delivering and coordinating Grok events. You will have experience in the facilitation and support of events and can juggle multiple projects and deadlines with superb attention to detail. Importantly, you are a lateral thinker who performs under pressure and works well in a large team environment. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- assist in all stages of event planning from initial brief through to execution and post-event activities;
- assist with project management, including venue and supplier negotiation/bookings, planning, staffing briefing and requirements, way-finding signage and activations, transport management plans, and catering;
- assist with organising event logistics with immediate team and other departments as required;
- assist with updating website and event registration systems;
- assist in administrative tasks, maintaining/servicing event equipment, and monitoring marketing merchandise stock levels. Required to attend events as and when required (weekend work may be required on occasion).
We need someone who has:
- qualifications and/or experience in events management or related fields;
- proven experience in an event position;
- experience in all administrative aspects of meetings, events and conferences including and understanding of venue management;
- a commitment to customer service and strong interpersonal skills;
- professional personal presentation;
- current drivers licence.
**Position details**
We are hiring for an Events Coordinator in our growing operations team located in Sydney. The role is available full-time or part-time staff.

**Position Description**
Your position as Events Coordinator will include but is not limited to the following duties:
- assisting and supporting events from initial brief to final activation;
- assisting in the planning, coordination and supervision of events both face to face and virtual;
- providing input into the design of major event concepts and themes, including researching venues, working with the graphic design team to develop invitations, event promotion material etc;
- assisting in the booking of travel and accommodation for events as required
- supporting the delivery of high levels of service excellence for all managed events, meeting expectations of the Board and executive, members, sponsors and guests;
- assisting in the preparation of post event analysis and documentation;
- assisting in the recognition of post event sponsor recognition requirements;
- assisting in the preparation of risk assessments for events as required.
All staff will:
- Collaborate with your team (communicate, help, coach and learn from each other) to achieve team or project objectives.
- Work effectively with your manager to perform your role.
- Evaluate your work against Grok’s strategic goals.
- Perform other work as reasonably directed by management.
