**The Role**

At Ventura we have an existing MR Program which allows people who are looking to transition into a Bus Driver position with us.

Our MR Program gives you invaluable skills and allows you to gain practical bus driver knowledge.

Supported by our operations team, the duties of a professional bus driver will include:

- Providing a friendly, professional and reliable bus service to our passengers;
- Answering general customer queries and interacting with passengers;
- Conducting pre trip inspections on your allocated bus;
- Reporting any bus defects or on road issues to the Operations Control Centre
- Working a variety of shifts, across a 7 day roster;
- Driving specified routes as directed whilst ensuring the care, safety and comfort of Ventura customers.

**What you will need**:
To ensure your ongoing success as a professional bus driver you will require:

- Full car licence for participation in the MR licence training program; **or** MR/HR/HC licence
- A high level of customer service skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse customer base;
- Good driving record
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- The ability to work unsupervised
- A strong focus on safety
- Passing pre-employment medical, police and working with children check

**Salary**: $32.56 per hour
