**About the Centre**
We strive to provide the highest quality care and early childhood education for all children and families at our service. Our main objective is to help children reach their maximum learning potential and learning outcomes, while belonging, being and becoming unique individuals.
We believe that quality early childhood experiences at home and in early learning centres are critical in contributing positively to the children’s development and wellbeing.
Our primary aim is to provide children with the building blocks and foundations for good life-readiness and independent experiences, within a safe and home like nurturing environment, with strong relationships being formed between the carer, child and parent through open communication and trust.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
Working across all rooms when needed as a responsible person (2IC) to the director in accordance with the requirements of Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
**Duties also include**
- To ensure children's wellbeing, learning needs and interests are addressed through a high quality education
- Meet and Greet families, children and visitors at the service
- Rostering, administration and enrolments
- Manage incoming/outgoing phone enquiries
- Assist the service manager with conducting tours
- Assist the service manager with interviews, phone screening, references and finalising new starters
- Manage family accounts
- Compliance documents within the service
- Assist on the floor when required
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
**Essential**
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education;
- Current Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Minimum 3 years experience in leadership role
- As a 2IC the ability to plan, implement and evaluate early childhood programs as required by the EYLF;
- Sound understanding of National Education and Care Services Regulation;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Working with Children Check number
