**Learning and Capability Consultant - Digital Learning and Design**
- ** Work in a team of Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management and Information Sharing (MARAMIS) experts to build innovative and engaging online learning solutions, utilising expertise with contemporary design, development tools, and methodologies**:

- ** VPS 5.1 position: $113,022 to $124,885 plus superannuation on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027**

**About the Business Unit**:

- The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a trusted justice and community safety system that works to build a just, safe and resilient Victoria. The department has ongoing obligations under the _Family Violence Protection Act 2008 _(Act)to align to the MARAM Framework, implement the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme and Child Information Sharing Scheme, and is committed to providing best practice in family violence prevention, identification and response.
- People, Safety, Culture and Communications (PSCC) lead the department's strategic people functions and ensure our workforce has the right skills and capabilities, culture and working environment to achieve its strategic priorities.
- The Family Violence Learning and Capability team sits within the Learning and Capability function of PSCC. It builds the workforce capabilities of the department and prescribed funded agencies to identify and respond to family violence by developing and delivering customised MARAM training, according to the specific context of the workforce and applicable reforms.

**About the Role**:

- As a Consultant in the Family Violence Learning and Capability team, you will be responsible for driving family violence capability uplift aligned to the MARAM Framework. You will hold a senior position and work alongside VPS 4 and VPS 5 colleagues in the team.
- You will report to the team manager and will lead critical digital learning and design activities which will impact across the department, including front-line roles. Learning products will align to the MARAM Framework and substantially support capability uplift. Adult learning facilitation skills are required, as you will also be involved in delivering training live to staff, both in-person and online. You will support the team to develop engaging, practice-focused learning resources that ensure retention of key concepts and promote sustained practice change following training delivery.
- Some of your duties will include:

- Creating practice-focused digital learning resources, including leading activities to scope, plan, develop and implement learning projects
- Consult with team colleagues who will hold Family Violence Subject Matter Expertise, as well as external stakeholders to deploy technology-based learning products that meet learning and development needs of a diverse range of DJCS staff.
- Contributing to practice guidance, tools, and resources that are tailored to the operational contexts of DJCS workforces and DJCS funded agencies
- Embedding evaluation and feedback mechanisms into training delivery and digital resources, to ensure this evidence guides continuous improvement of materials to meet business needs.

**About You**:

- To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the design, development, implementation and management of education technologies, including eLearning development software (e.g., Articulate and Adobe products, including Captivate), virtual classrooms, and webinars.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in training and assessment systems, including conducting training needs analyses and workplace learning methodologies
- Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, to review, enhance, and co-deve
