**Job Title: Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator - Permanent Role**

The Kids Cottage Middle Harbour is a well-established and reputable provider of high-quality Out of School Hours Care (OSHC). We are dedicated to providing children with a safe, engaging, and supportive environment before and after school. We are currently seeking a passionate, experienced, and reliable **OSHC Educator** to join our team in a permanent role.

**Role Overview**:
As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our before
- and after-school programs. You will work closely with a dynamic team to create a fun, engaging, and enriching environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being. The role involves planning and facilitating activities, providing guidance and support to children, and building strong relationships with families and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during before and after school hours.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s development, creativity, and social skills.
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for children, encouraging positive behaviors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with the management of child attendance, documentation, and daily records.
- Support children with their individual needs, including behavioral and emotional support.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and management to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
- Participate in regular professional development and training opportunities.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent qualification (or willing to work towards).
- Experience working with school-aged children in an OSHC or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate initiative.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant regulations for OSHC services.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in an OSHC role.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and respond to challenging behaviors effectively.

**To Apply**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.75 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
