We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist to work in a private clinic in Heidelberg. Initially, the role is 1-2 days per week on a part time or casual basis which may immediately grow to 3 days per week with the view of increasing up to Full-time employment within the year.

Job Summary
- Exercise prescription for a variety of chronic disease, injuries and disabilities.
- Conducting clinical assessments
- Lead group classes
- Working closely with local community organisations and programs
- Clinical Reporting and admin duties
- Hospital, aged care, or home visits within local area.

**Requirements**:
Essential
- Proven ability to work within a multicultural environment
- Full ESSA Exercise Physiologist membership and accreditation
- Recent Police Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Demonstrated effective communication skills needed to speak to our patients and also medical professionals in the area.
- Ability to work independently
- Availability to work Saturday mornings (3 hours) from 7:50am to 10:50 am would be highly desirable but not a requirement.

Preferred
- Knowledge of the Exercise Physiologist role in Chronic Disease Management (Medicare), Department of Veterans’ Affair, Workcover, TAC & NDIS
- Experience using HealthKit software
- Pilates or Clinical Pilates experience (Not required but highly desirable)

Recent graduates are welcome to apply. However 2-3 years experience is highly desireable

Application Deadline: No Deadline

Pay: $28.50 to $40.57 per hour depending on experience

Expected hours: 7.6 to 15 hours intially which may immediately grow to 22.8 per week. However, the view is to grow to full-time within the year when ready and once training is successfuly completed..
