**About the organisation**
**About the role**
The Victorian Electoral Commissioner reports to the Victorian Parliament, providing the strategic leadership and management of the VEC's performance and compliance with all aspects of State Parliamentary, Local Government and fee-for-service elections. Working closely with the Australian Electoral Commission, the remit includes overseeing the administration of the enrolment process and the conduct of parliamentary elections, referendums and local government elections in Victoria. The Commissioner develops and implements innovative processes and procedures in accordance with strict legislative requirements, while upholding critical electoral principles of fairness, equitable representation and integrity.
