Join our team as a BAKER at **Son of a Baker**and be a welcoming presence in our bakery.

**What will I be doing?**
- Ensuring equipment and premises meet safety standards before production runs
- Assessing raw materials for quality and weighing ingredients
- Performing tasks such as kneading, cutting, shaping dough, and preparing pastry fillings
- Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance for optimal baking
- Coordinating batch processes including forming, baking, and cooling bread and pastry products
- Finishing products by glazing buns, pastries, and decorating cakes
- Operating machinery for dough rolling, moulding, and biscuit cutting
- Maintaining cleanliness of baking trays, tins, and equipment

**What are the requirements?**If you're personable, organised, and passionate about delivering great service, and meet the below requirements, we'd love to have you at our BOTANY location.
- **CERTIFICATIONS**_

AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)

**OR**

At least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
